About me

Hey,  you found me!

I’m Sheila Alley and I love helping women over 50 boost their confidence (and have some fun) by creating a Style They Love!

And, I can’t wait to help you create a style that aligns with your personality and lifestyle so you can feel better and be more joyful.

I know you want to show up powerfully – that is, to be seen as confident and credible. The way to do that is to create a style that is in total alignment with who you are.

Do you have questions like:

  • Where do I start, I don’t want to stay stuck in clothes I don’t love?
  • What about my style needs to change so I feel and look dynamic?
  • And, are their really styles and colours that are perfect for me so I can look fabulous?

Is this true for you?

You are at a time in your life when you’re ready to take care of ‘you’. You want to look your absolute best.  You compare yourself with others who are rockin’ it and you wonder what their secret is (don’t do that). Seriously, all you need is someone to guide you through the steps of creating a magnetic image – someone who has learned it step-by-step.

I show up powerfully now but that wasn’t always the case.  I’ve always loved clothes, fabric, design and colour. As a child I spent a lot of time dressing up and coming up with creative designs (at home). So back then,  if I  had my way I would have dressed as I pleased. Or at least been able to show some personality in how I dressed.

SheilaThat wasn’t always the case for me. Imagine how I felt being a child who loves colour, clothes and creativity when my mother insisted I wear a uniform to school? Blah! Awful! I did try to voice my opinion but it was no use, I was wearing a uniform to school and that was it. It was a black uniform worn with a white starched blouse. See the pic? You might be thinking, so what, I wore a uniform too, lots of people did. Well, here’s the kicker, wearing a uniform wasn’t school policy. I was the only kid wearing a uniform. I stood out and it wasn’t in  a good way.

Like most of us, I grew up being told how to behave and what to think ( which is always meant for our own good).  However, when you are raised to follow the rules, do what you’re told – be a good girl, it carries through all of your life. I learned to be a people- pleaser. For years I continued to attract people who wanted to tell me who I should be.  Some of the pivotal points in my life were when I realized the situations where  I was giving away my power by letting others dictate how I lived.

These were massive turning points! The thing is, you can’t be your authentic self when you’re dancing to the beat of someone else’s drum or when you don’t  know or recognize the sound of your own drum.

During these tuning points I began to do (and think) things differently. Each time I changed my behaviour, something shifted in my life. For example, even though I loved clothes and I was well trained in colour, line and design I was dressing in a way that wasn’t really me but was what I thought fitted my role.  OMG! I had gone right back to wearing a uniform – and I hadn’t seen it.  Sometimes we can’t see what’s right in front of us.

Can you imagine how changing something so simple as this made a huge difference in how I showed up?

I became more in alignment and as a result better things started showing up. I’ve learned that being yourself (when you know who that is) makes a huge difference. However, Being Magnetic is more than just being yourself. There is a subtle dance between being who you are and how that shows up in body language, appearance, behaviour and mindset. That’s what I’ve devoted my life to learning and how I can help.

This has been a lifetime journey for me, but it doesn’t have to be for you. It’s easy when you know the elements of a magnetic image.  I will teach you step-by-step how to create a style that is Amazingly Magnetic!
